Greek Movie Evening at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - Sep. 4, 2013
Dear friends of Modern Greek,

The first event for this academic year is fast approaching. On Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 18:00 the Greek movie "Zorba the Greek" will be screened at Lucy Ellis Lounge (room 1080, ground floor), Foreign Languages Building (FLB), 707 S. Mathews Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801. The film will be screened as part of this year's film series by the Less Common Taught Languages (LCTL) program and is sponsored by the Department of Linguistics, the LCTL and the Modern Greek Studies Program. Free pizza and soft drinks will be served. A flyer of the event is attached herewith.

A full list of this semester's event will be released soon, which will include five events in campus (Urbana-Champaign), one radio interview at WILL radio (possibly two) and two events in Chicago. Please stay tuned!
