Orpheus MusicGroup auditions, June 23, 2011, Northbrook, IL

The Orpheus MusicGroup will be holding auditions for new members on Thursday, June 23, at the Northbrook practice facility, 3020 Milwaukee Ave., between 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

The music group is comprised of adult and youth members, featuring a wide array of instruments and a large repertoire of musical selections.

The goals of the ensemble are to introduce Greek American children and adults to the art of playing Greek folk music and to accompany the Orpheus Dance Troupe at festivals, performances and competitions. The Orpheus Music Group has already established itself as one of the premiere folk ensembles in the area. All instruction is conducted by professional experienced staff.
